After a successful and well received run of Ariadne aux Naxos, Alexander is now in rehearsals for Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Boris Godounov while preparing the Verdi Requiem and his role debut as Don José for Malmö Opera. In the Autumn, Tenori will return to Göteborg and Angleholm with sell out concerts, guest artists and great venues!

Standing ovations for all performances in the last 3 months! Seven Deadly Sins has been well received by the public as well as the concerts. Rehearsals have begun for Phantom of the Opera, 7 Deadly Sins and Gianni Schicchi at the Gothenburg Opera. Concerts this season will be in Gothenburg, Skövde and London. See Schedule for more details.

Throughout the year and into 2018, Alexander can be heard with his internationally acclaimed group, TENORI the 3 Tenors (tenori.net / tenori.se) at various venues throughout the UK and Sweden.

Next season at the Gothenburg Opera, Sweden, Alexander will perform the role of Tenor 1 in Weill’s The Seven Deadly Sins under inspirational director David Radok, as well as Pinellino in Gianni Schicci and The Officer in Ariadne auf Naxos.

Alexander is also language coach and dialogue director at the Gothenburg Opera for the new operatic co-production between the National Finnish Opera and Gothenburg Opera of The Phantom of the Opera.

March 2017

In June, Alexander, along with partner in crime Louise Sjöstedt and father-in-law, tenor Sten Sjöstedt will join tenor and Swedish media personality, Rikard Söderberg and Kammeropera Syd in Ystad, Sweden for lead roles in the newly written operetta “Teaterhotellet” featuring the best of Lehar, Strauss, Kalman and Offenbach with new texts that tells a snippet of history from Ystad Opera.
